There are many benefits to earning your Master’s Degree along with your Teaching Credential.

UC San Diego undergraduates who complete the Foundations or Math/Science EDS minor will be able to obtain a Master of Education and a Teaching Credential in one year of graduate study, upon admission into the graduate program. This means UCSD students can receive their Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree and Teaching Credential in 5 years of study total.

For students who cannot complete the coursework as an undergraduate, there are also options to complete an accelerated 13-month program (for Multiple Subject Credential candidates) or a 22-month program (for Single Subject Credential candidates).
