- • Handling all Academic Personnel Matters
• Advise faculty regarding updating of their files, bio-bibs, self-summaries,
etc.
• Process the faculty payroll according to their contract.
• New faculty hires; this includes all aspects of a recruitment: working
with the campus affirmative action office, placing ads, responding to applicants,
arranging candidate visits, taking the faculty vote, and submitting the
appointment file to the Dean once a finalist has been selected.
• Handle various kinds of leaves: sabbatical, maternity leave, etc…
• Payroll issues/concerns
• Coordinate and manage course evaluations
• Conference planning/Event Coordination
• Summer Session appointments
• Visiting Scholar appointments
